About the artist:
Sonam Zoksang was born in Tibet and grew up in India. He is a self-taught photographer who loves to document the Tibetan diaspora as well as life in occupied Tibet. He has traveled extensively in Tibet and beyond. He studied Buddhist Dialectics at the Central University for Tibetan Studies in Varanasi, India and currently runs two Tibetan craft shops in upstate NY called Vision of Tibet. He lives in the Hudson Valley with his wife & 3 children.
